This technique has gained popularity over the last several years and shows no signs of slowing down- it catches fish! Trout Town Flies has developed an afternoon course to introduce anglers to this system and the assoicated tactics and equipment. This session which is limited to 5 anglers includes:

1-hour lesson on equipment, rigging, flies, leaders and a discussion on the pros and cons of a dedicated nymphing rod/reel.

.5-hour transition on (rigging/gearing up) from class to water.

2 hours on the water covering casting, control of drifts, utilizing the sighter, hand retrieves, setting, reading the water, use of other techniques (Indicator, dry-dropper, streamers) and hopefully a few fish to boot!

Cost of the course is $160.

Equipment needed: Nymphing specific rods, while ideal, are not necessary. A longer ( 8.5' or better) will do fine for learning the technique.
